Prayer Stickies

I once knew a woman who put sticky notes on her mirrors and all around her house that said "think about God". It was her way of keeping God in the forefront of her mind and her life.

When I was a home-based employee, I began my own version of this practice. I got in the habit of writing the names of people I want to pray for on a sticky note and putting it on the frame around my computer monitor.

It's a perfect way to remember to pray, and the names are always in front of me so I think of them often. It also helps me stay in touch with God when I work.

Now that I work in an office again, I still have my prayer stickies on my monitor. I pray when I'm waiting for a process to complete, or for my machine to boot up, or for a search to run. I use time that would be otherwise wasted to do something that is really important and connects me with God. I can be efficient and spiritual all at the same time.
